Lara Logan
Lara Logan (born 29/03/71) is an South African television, radio and war reporter. She was a CBS News reporter from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes executive producers Jeff Fager and Lara Logan have called her factually incorrect and politcally biased coverage of the 2012 Benghazi attacks "the biggest error I've made in my 10 years of watching." She joined Sinclair Broadcast Group (a conservative media group) in 2019. In January 2020, she joined Fox Nation. Fox News is a streaming service that requires a subscription. She claimed that she was "dumped" by Fox Nation in March 2022. Logan worked during her studies as a reporter at the Sunday Tribune, Durban (1988-1989) and then the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992 she joined Reuters Television Africa as a senior producer. After four years working for Reuters Television in Africa, she began freelance journalistic work. She was employed as a reporter/editor/producer by Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY (in London), CBS News, ABC News, NBC News and the European Broadcasting Union. CNN reported on the events in Northern Ireland and Kosovo wars.
