Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC, born March 4, 1954 is an actress from Canada. O'Hara has won numerous prizes, including the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award) as well as two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. In the year 2018, she was made an Officer of Canada and in 2020, she received the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. She first came to the attention of an actress in 1974, as an actor in The Second City improvisational comedy troupe in Toronto. Together with John Candy, O'Hara was part of the main ensemble cast for the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara began working with Candy on Second City Television's sketch comedy series (1976-1984). O'Hara was praised for her stand-up and writing skills, winning the Primetime Emmy Award of Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1981. O'Hara joined the Second City artistic advisory board in 2022.
